For the second straight week Cal Poly’s Emily Sonny & Macy Gordon earned Big West Beach Volleyball Pair of the Week accolades. This is the third overall honor for Cal Poly as the duo of Amy Ozee and Jayelin Lombard collected the season’s first award.

• Posted a 2-0 record at the No. 1 spot, defeating Boise State (21-18, 21-9) and No. 15 Arizona (21-14, 21-13).
• Against the No. 15 Wildcats, Gordon and Sonny had the match-clinching victory to help the Mustangs win their fifth match in a row by a score of 3-2. \
• The Mustangs handed Arizona its first loss of the season.
• The pair is now a team-best 7-3 together this season and have won the last four matches.
• Second weekly honor of 2021 for the duo.
