Elijah Pepper of UC Davis Takes Home Men's Basketball Weekly Honor

27981• UC Davis guard Elijah Pepper helped the Aggies to two wins over the week to earn his second career Big West Player of the Week award. He previously earned the conference’s weekly honor on Feb. 15 during the 2020-21 season.
• Pepper tallied 30 points, five rebounds and two assists in a 63-57 win over Pacific. In the game, he shot 52 percent (11-of-21) from the floor and 55 percent (6-of-11) on 3-pointers.
• In an 81-40 win over UC Merced, the sophomore recorded 11 points, going 4-for-6 from the field and 3-for-3 from downtown, four rebounds, and four assists.
• In the two wins, Pepper averaged 20.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists. He shot 56 percent (15-of-27) from the field and 64 percent (9-of-14) from behind the arc.
