• UC Santa Barbara center Ila Lane led the Gauchos to an 81-51 win at San Jose State to earn The Big West Player of the Week award for the second time this season and fifth in her career. She previously won the conference’s weekly honor on Dec. 2, Feb. 10, and Feb. 24 during the 2019-20 season, and Dec. 6 earlier this year.
• Lane recorded 26 points, on 11-of-15 shooting, seven rebounds, two steals and one assist in the win against the Spartans.
