Hawai’i sophomore guard Noel Coleman set a career high in the opening round of the Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic to earn his first career nod for Big West Player of the Week.

He poured in a new benchmark of 31 points on 63 percent shooting from the field, including a 6-of-10 effort from distance in a loss to the eventual tournament champions.

Coleman followed the career-best with a 22-point effort against South Florida for his fourth 20-point game of the season.
