• Madeline Feist played in role in all three UC Riverside goals to earn Big West Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week honors.
• The senior midfielder scored twice and assisted on a third goal as the Highlanders defeated Saint Mary’s (1-0) and Loyola Maryland (2-0) to kick off the 2018 season at home.
• Feist accounted for both game-winning goals. Her strike in the 99th minute against the Gaels came from 25 yards out. Feist notched another goal at the 14:00 mark to open scoring against Loyola Maryland, then picked up an assist on Darielle O’Brien’s insurance score in the 58th minute.
• The five points she racked up in one weekend equalled her entire output over 18 games in 2017.

• Imani McDonald collected her second career Big West Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week award after making a total of 12 saves against No. 2 UCLA and SMU.
• The Long Beach State netminder notched her eighth career shutout in the 1-0 victory over SMU. She stopped five shots to enable Nadiyah Siqueiros to score the clinching goal in the 57th minute.
• McDonald made seven saves against the Bruins and stymied them until the closing seconds when UCLA scored for the 1-0 win.
• McDonald finished the week 1-1 with a .923 save percentage.
