• Notching two game-winning goals on the road, CSUN senior Marissa Favela earned her second career Offensive Player of the Week citation.
• Both were golden goals – and the third and fourth game-winners of Favela’s career.
• In a 1-0 triumph at Pacific, Favela struck at the 104:55 mark of the second overtime as she scored from five yards out near the right post.
• With the score knotted at 1-1 against Sacramento State, Favela cleaned up in the 93rd minute as she found room near the top of the box and deposited a high shot that struck the top of the goal.
• The two goals represented her first two of the year. She finished with six shots – and four on goal – for the week.

WOMEN'S SOCCER DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

• In her CSUN debut, Amanda Delgado allowed just one goal in over 197 minutes of action as the Defensive Player of the Week.
• The 5-foot-7 keeper made a combined 12 saves to help the Matadors defeat Pacific (1-0) and Sacramento State (2-1) in road overtime contests.
• Favela stopped nine shots against the Tigers to claim her first career shutout.
• She made three more stops versus the Hornets, overcoming a first half goal and preventing any further damage as the Matadors won in OT.
• Delgado posted a 0.46 GAA and .923 save percentage while picking up the first two wins of her collegiate career.
