• Julia Scoles and Maia Hannemann went 4-1 over the weekend at the Outrigger Duke Kahanamoku Beach Classic at Queen's Beach.
 
• The duo played against four ranked squads – including three of the top five teams in the country and helped the SandBows go 3-2 on the weekend.
 
• The Rainbow Wahine swept No. 19 Stanford, 5-0, to claim third place during the tournament.
 
• The pair clinched tedious matches against No. 1 UCLA (21-17, 21-16) and No. 3 LSU (21-16, 21-15), where Hannemann earned the tournament's Best Defender.
 
• The only loss for the squad came from a close three set battle against LSU (16-21, 22-20, 15-11), despite overcoming them the previous day.
