• UC Riverside senior Jannon Otto captured her third career Big West Women’s Basketball Player of the Week honor after playing a key role in helping her team close out 2019 with a win.

• Otto posted 16 points, 13 rebounds, a season-high five assists and two steals as the Highlanders edged future Big West member CSU Bakersfield, 53-52, at the SRC Arena.

• The 6-foot guard notched eight of her 16 points in the third quarter.

• Otto made 6-of-14 from the field and converted all four of her foul shots.

• She notched her third double-double in the last five games and posted her fifth double-digit rebounding performance of the season.
