Kamga Joins Men's Basketball Honor Roll

• Cal State Fullerton senior Brandon Kamga earned his first career Big West Men’s Basketball Player of the Week award after back-to-back 20-point performances in a pair of conference wins.

• The 6-foot-5 guard averaged 24.0 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists to lead the Titans to their second and third consecutive Big West victories.

• Kamga notched 21 points in 25 minutes to lead the Titans in a 78-74 road win against UC Davis on Wednesday.

• The High Point transfer notched a career-high tying 27 points against CSUN in Saturday’s 82-75 home victory.

• Kamga converted 11 of his 12 free throw attempts against the Aggies. He was clutch going 9-of-10 at the line in the final 1:19, including six straight in the last 23 seconds, which prevented an Aggie comeback.

• He also went 8-of-8 at the charity stripe against the Matadors and finished the week shooting 95.0 percent (19-of-20) at the line.

• Kamga added four rebounds, three assists and a blocked shot against UC Davis.

• He knocked down two treys against UC Davis and three more versus CSUN.

• Kamga has scored in double figures in 12 straight games.
