• Hawai‘i senior Rado Parapunov garnered his eighth career Big West Men’s Volleyball Player of the Week award with two mammoth performances in significant wins on a midwest roadtrip.

• The 6-foot-9 opposite posted back-to-back 20-kill efforts in a pair of four-set wins against No. 5 Lewis and No. 12 Loyola. Parapunov led the way offensively after the Rainbow Warriors lost the first set in both matches.

• The native of Bulgaria hit .330 (46-16-91) in the two matches and averaged 5.75 kills, 1.75 digs and 1.13 blocks per set.

• Parapunov tallied 22 kills and 10 digs against Lewis for his second career double-double. He also had four aces and four blocks versus the Flyers.

• He battered the Ramblers with a career-high 24 kills on .429 (24-6-42) hitting, adding five blocks (two solo), four digs and two aces to his final line.

GAGE WORSLEY, HAWAI‘I • MEN'S VOLLEYBALL DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

• Hawai‘i junior Gage Worsley notched his third career Big West Men’s Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week award after posting double figure dig totals in a pair of wins over No. 5 Lewis and No. 12 Loyola.

• The 6-foot-1 libero averaged 3.00 digs per set as UH defeated both the Flyers and Ramblers in four sets.

• Worsley had match-high totals of 13 digs against Lewis and 11 versus Loyola

• He had three assists in each match. Worsley also turned in a reception percentage of .900 in 50 receive attempts.

• UC Irvine setter Patrick Vorenkamp captured his first career Big West Men’s Volleyball Freshman Player of the Week accolade after directing the Anteater offense to a win over No. 9 Stanford.

• Vorenkamp accumulated 36 assists, one ace, five digs and two blocks as the Anteaters won in four sets.

• Vorenkamp’s setting led to .303 hitting for the match as UCI improved to 3-1 on the year with all three wins coming against ranked opponents.
