• UC Santa Barbara junior Nick Randazzo earned his fourth career Big West Men’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week award after an amazing performance at the UC Riverside Invitational.
• Randazzo won the 8K with a time of 24:01.85, a minute and 18 seconds faster than the previous time he ran the course almost two years ago.
• The Gaucho co-captain won his second race this season, and helped lead his team to a third place finish out of 24 teams.

WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Junior • San Francisco, Calif.
• Cal Poly junior Sierra Brill, a former Big West Conference Freshman of the Year, captured her first career Big West Women’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week honor thanks to her performance at the UC Riverside Invitational.
• Brill won the 6K with the time of 20:20.88, improving from her previous best at the UCR course by 28.6 seconds.
• The Mustang led her team to a third place finish among 19 other programs.
• Brill edged teammate Peyton Bilo by 2.9 seconds for individual medalist honors.
