• Cal State Fullerton senior Ari Williams collected her second career Big West Softball Field Player of the Week award after hitting .700 in a series sweep of Cal Poly.
• The outfielder had seven hits in 10-at bats, posting multiple hits in all three games as the Titans outscored the Mustangs 10-3 for the series.
• Williams went 2-for-3 with a pair of singles and a stolen base in the game one, 2-1 victory.
• The Moreno Valley native was a perfect 3-for-3 in game two with a run scored and an RBI triple in the 6-1 win. It was her Big West-leading sixth triple of the season.
• Williams closed out the sweep with a 2-for-4 performance, including a double, in the second 2-1 win of the series on Sunday.
• She has reached base safely in all 18 Big West games.

BRITTANY HITCHCOCK, HAWAI‘I • SOFTBALL PITCHER OF THE WEEK

• Earning her second straight and fifth career Big West Softball Pitcher of the Week award, Hawai‘i hurler Brittany Hitchcock picked up two more wins against CSUN.
• The right-hander helped the Rainbow Wahine to the program’s first series win against CSUN since 2015. She posted a 2-0 record with a 1.40 ERA, allowing four runs (three earned) in 15.0 innings of work.
• She tossed complete games in both of her starts. In the opening game, Hitchcock toiled all eight innings, scattering eight hits and allowing an unearned run in the 2-1 victory. She walked one and struck out one.
• Hitchcock returned to the circle for the series finale and surrendered seven hits and three runs with no walks and one strikeout in the 4-3 final.
• The three strikeouts pushed her career total to 494, No. 4 in school history. She also is No. 4 in the UH record book with 87 complete games.
• Hitchcock improved to 19-7 on the season, tying her career high for wins in a season. She has thrown 20 complete games with six shutouts in 156.1 innings.

• Notching her fifth Big West Softball Freshman of the Week award this season, Cal State Fullerton pitcher Dani Martinez moved her team one step closer to another conference title.
• The Titans improved to 15-3 in Big West play, two games ahead of Hawai‘i entering the final weekend of the regular season, and in firm control of winning a possible fourth straight regular season crown.
• Martinez helped CSF celebrate Senior Day in proper fashion as she went the distance in a 2-1, nine inning victory. She allowed just two hits and the one run in her seventh complete game effort of the season.
• Martinez struck out a career-high 11, the most for a Titan pitcher since Cerissa Rivera had 11 on March 24, 2017.
• She retired the first 11 batters of the game. Martinez ranks third in the Big West with 141 strikeouts.
