• The junior’s offensive dominance helped UC Riverside extended its win streak to a DI record 13 victories
• Ortega collected a pair of hits in all three game and crossed home four times
• She also picked up two doubles on the weekend and posted a double and a triple in an 8-2 win over Santa Clara
• The honoree posted an on-base-percentage of .636 and a 1.000 slugging percentage

• After tossing her first career no-hitter at Long Beach State, Ashley Coleman received Big West Softball Pitcher of the Week honors
• The junior pitcher no-hit Loyola Marymount in a complete game shutout
• Coleman allowed just a single base-runner over five innings, striking out three as the Long Beach State offense finished off the run-rule 8-0 victory

ALEXA NEIL, CAL STATE FULLERTON – SOFTBALL FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK

• After an impressive week at the plate, Alexa Neil earned Big West Softball Freshman of the Week honors
• Neil hit for a .643 average with nine hits in 14 at-bats
• The utility player recorded a hit in all four games over the week with multi-hit performances in three
• The rookie has 12 multi-hit games this season to lead the Titans and has improved her season average above .400 to lead the squad
• Neil recorded two 3-hit games including a perfect 3-3 performance in the first game against LMU with a double, a pair of runs scored and an RBI
