• Senior Eddie Stansberry earned his second Big West Men’s Basketball Player of the Week award – the first Hawai‘i representative to do so in one season since Noah Allen in 2016-17.
• The 6-foot-3 guard scored a game-high 23 points in Hawaii’s 94-73 win over Samford at the Stan Sheriff Center on Sunday.
• The season-high 94 points scored was UH’s highest output since 2017.
• Stansberry made five three-pointers – the third time this season he has knocked down five or more in a game – and set a new school record with 16 three-point attempts.
• The San Francisco native notched 20-plus points for the seventh time this season in 10 games.
• He also made 4-of-5 from the charity stripe.
• Stansberry added five rebounds, four assists, two steals and one block to help UH to its fourth win in the last five games.
• The sharpshooter remains among the nation’s leaders in three-point field goals per game (3.8), ranking No. 4 overall. His 38 treys made is also No. 4 nationally.
