• UC Davis senior Lauren Matias earned her first career Big West Women's Volleyball Player of the Week honor, bringing the award back to the school for the first time since 2015.
• Matias helped the Aggies cap off a 2-0 week with a pair of five set victories over Long Beach State and CSUN. Those two wins make UC Davis 8-0 at The Pavilion this season.
• The senior had her 12th and 13th double-digit kill performances, including her third 20-kill achievement of the season where she put up 24 kills against CSUN.
• The outside hitter also earned her seventh and eighth double-doubles of the year with 11 and 13 digs against the Beach and Matadors, respectively.
• Matias hit .333 for the week, including .442 against the Matadors. She committed only 11 errors in 90 swings. She also averaged 4.10 kills and 2.40 digs per set for the week.
• The Santa Cruz native added three blocks and a trio of service aces to her stat line.

WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK

• Cal State Fullerton's Julia Crawford received her second Big West Women's Volleyball Freshman of the Week award after leading her team to their first conference victory against UC Irvine.
• The 5-foot-9 outside hitter recorded her eighth double-double of the season with 20 kills and 17 digs, making this her fifth match with 20 or more kills.
• Crawford averaged 5.00 kills and 4.25 digs per set against the 'Eaters and ultimately finished the match with her 20th kills to give the Titans the 30-28 win in the fourth set.
• It marked the first conference win for Cal State Fullerton since 2017, snapping a 22-match losing streak in Big West matches.

WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

• Cal Poly sophomore Lea Ungar helped her team sweep No. 19 Hawai'i in front of a sold out crowd to secure Big West Women’s Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week accolades.
• Ungar tallied a match and career-high 14 digs as the Mustangs swept the Rainbow Wahine for the first time in program history, remaining undefeated and at the top of the Big West standings (6-0).
• Cal Poly also extended the nation's longest active home winning streak to 28 consecutive matches.
• The Manhattan Beach native made several point-saving, diving digs, one of which saved Cal Poly from dropping the second set and ensuring a 26-24 victory.
• She added two assists and two aces against UH.
• Ungar is averaging team second-best 2.36 digs per set this season.
