Hill Records Five Straight Mulit-Hit Games
Cal State Fullerton freshman Deshea Hill (Carlsbad, Calif./Carlsbad HS) batted .688 with five straight multi-hit games to capture Big West Softball Field Player of the Week accolades.
• Hill recorded 11 hits in 16 at-bats to help the Titans post a 3-2 record. Five of her 11 knocks went for extra bases – three doubles and two home runs – as she finished with a 1.250 slugging percentage.
• Hill also notched a team-best six RBI and scored five runs as she nearly accounted for half of the 24 runs CSF scored over the five games.
• The third baseman began the week going 2-for-3 with a career-best three runs scored in a 7-1 win over Michigan State. Hill slammed her first career home run to aid in the win.
• She homered for the second consecutive game to open the Cal State Fullerton/Long Beach State Tournament against San Jose State. She went 2-for-3 with two RBI in a 15-6 loss to the Spartans.
• Supplying an extra base hit in each of the five games, Hill had a double in the next three contests. She turned in a career-high three hits in a 4-3 win over San Diego State.

Dolcini Allows No Earned Runs Over 21.0 Innings
Dominating the UCR Classic with three wins, UC Riverside freshman Hailey Dolcini (Ferndale, Calif./Fortuna HS) earned Big West Softball Pitcher of the Week honors.
• Dolcini picked up the win against Boise State, North Dakota State and Colgate to help the Highlanders post a 4-1 UCR Classic record and improve to 19-7 overall.
• She allowed just one unearned run in three consecutive complete games, yielding eight hits and striking out 18.
• Dolcini tossed two shutouts, including in the 6-0 win over Colgate in which she faced just 22 batters.
• She threw a four-hit shutout in a 3-0 victory over Boise State, and allowed just two hits while fanning eight in a 2-1 triumph over North Dakota State.
• Opposing batters managed just a .086 batting average against Dolcini as she commanded the circle. Dolcini has now earned the win in four straight appearances.
