BEACH BACK IN BUSINESS
This marks the start of the second year of competition for Big West beach volleyball, the conference’s 17th-sponsored sport.

2016 NCAA TOURNAMENT RECAP
In the sport’s first year in the NCAA, No. 5 Hawai‘i completed its campaign with an 18-10 record and was among the NCAA Tournament’s final four teams after being crowned the inaugural Big West Champion. The Rainbow Wahine received an at-large selection as there were no automatic qualifiers.

POSTSEASON
A six-team, double-elimination conference tournament will take place at the Pismo Beach volleyball courts on Friday, April 28 and Saturday, April 29.  Seeding of the event will be determined by the conference office based on criteria that includes head-to-head results, common opponents, AVCA national poll and overall records.
