Michael Bryson scored 24 points and Gabe Vincent had 20 as UC Santa Barbara romped to its ninth straight win, an 87-61 decision in a quarterfinal game at the 2016 Big West Tournament on Thursday afternoon. The Gauchos (18-12 overall) tied the second longest winning streak in school history with three of the wins coming over the Aggies (11-19).

Top-Seeded Hawai'i Upends No. 8 Cal State Fullerton
The University of Hawai'i men's basketball team overcame a sluggish first half with a huge scoring run to start the second in a 75-44 victory over Cal State Fullerton in the quarterfinal round of the Big West Tournament, Thursday, at the Honda Center. The top-seeded Rainbow Warriors (25-5) advances to Friday's semifinals against the lowest remaining seed left in the tournament following the completion of the quarterfinal round. UH's semifinal game begins at 6:30 p.m. PT (4:30 p.m. HT) and the game will be televised nationally on ESPNU.
