West Helps Titans To Pair Of Wins
Cal State Fullerton Brandon West (Knivsta, Upsala (Sweden)/Celsiusskolan HS) earned Big West Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week honors after helping his team go 2-0.
The forward posted the first goal of his career in CSF’s 3-0 win against George Washington, capitalizing on an empty net and heading it in for what proved to be the game-winner.
The freshman then assisted on the game-winning goal in a 2-1 triumph at Santa Clara. West got behind the Bronco defense and found Ruben Alvarez on a cross.

Hamilton Pitches 11th Career Shutout
Cal Poly senior Wade Hamilton (Murrieta, Calif./Murrieta Valley HS) registered a 0.45 goals against average over two matches to earn Big West Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week honors.
Hamilton made a season-high six saves to help the Mustangs forge a 1-1 tie at Gonzaga. He stopped an additional shot in a 1-0 shutout against Seattle for his first clean sheet of the season.
The netminder conceded just one goal in 200 minutes and posted an .875 save percentage.
