UC Riverside Baseball Vacates Eight Victories

The UC Riverside baseball program must vacate eight victories due to the use of an ineligible student-athlete during the 2013 season.

The ineligible player competed in 15 UC Riverside games, eight of which resulted in victories.  The wins vacated are against Utah Valley (Feb. 16), Sacramento State (Feb. 22), Saint Mary’s (March 2-3), Loyola Marymount (March 5), New Mexico (March 9 - GM 1, March 10) and Portland (March 17).

As a result, the Highlanders’ overall record falls from 19-28 to 11-28 on the year, while the Big West Conference mark remains unaffected at 8-13.
