It was a close race at the semifinals from the Anteater Aquatics Complex for the Big West Women's Water Polo Tournament on Saturday as the first two games were determined by a single goal, followed by No. 1 seed Hawai'i capturing their first trip to the conference championship and to face reigning four-time champions UC Irvine.
