Junior Seth Totten and senior Damajeria DuBose registered top five individual finishes at the UC Riverside Invitational, earning the Highlander duo Big West Men's and Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week recognition.

Totten Finishes Fourth at UC Riverside Invitational

Seth Totten ran the 8K course in 24:28.3 to place fourth out of 163 individuals Saturday morning at the UC Riverside Invitational.

He was the top Big West finisher, ahead of runners from Cal State Fullerton, Cal State Northridge, UC Santa Barbara and Hawaii.

Totten's performance helped UCR claim fourth place out of 19 teams.

DuBose Posts Personal-Best at Host Meet

Damajeria DuBose (Oakland, Calif.) traversed the 6K course in a personal-best time of 20:33.4 to capture third place out of 132 runners at the UC Riverside Invitational Saturday.

DuBose outran all other Big West competitors and keyed UCR's second place team showing in a field of 16 schools.
