Junior setter Hannah Clancy guided the Pacific Tigers to a 3-0 sweep in their season-opening tournament, earning her this season's first Big West Women's Volleyball Player of the Week honor.
In the first match of the Crystal Inn Thunderbird Invitational, Clancy put together one of the best matches in Pacific's storied history as she tallied 57 assists while posting an astounding 34 digs. Her total against Boise State was the fourth most in single-match history and the highest total for any Tiger since the 2006 season. Later in the day Clancy recorded a 43-assist performance while adding five digs and two aces to her total in a 3-0 victory over Utah State.
The following day she registered her second double-double of the season in a title-clinching victory over host Southern Utah with 32 assists and 10 digs.
For the week, she averaged 12 assists and 4.45 digs per set. Hannah collected all-tournament honors after producing the tournament's best all-around performance throughout the two days.
