A record 163 teams competed on Tuesday night on the campus of UC Davis in the 2010 Big West Basketball ShootOut.  UC Davis, the sixth stop on a nine-stop tour, increased its attendance from last year’s event by 29 percent.  Campus champions will be crowned on Thursday during halftime of the UC Davis/Long Beach State men’s basketball game with the opportunity to punch their ticket to Anaheim to compete for the $5,000 grand prize.  Team Get’er Done with Genevieve Costello and EJ Brown will face Team Sho’Tyme with Erica Wong and Joseph Tang.

Team Blueberries with Erin Laverone and Alexa Marquez won the women’s division while Team Saiyans with Kenny Bains and Khalid Mohammed won the men’s division.
