The third annual Big West Coin Drive returns to the nine conference campuses throughout the month of February as each school's Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) collects coins and donates the funds to charity.
From February 1-28, each school's SAAC will set up a location on each campus to collect coins for a designated charity. Each school will donate half of its earnings to its designated charity and the other half to the winning charity of the school that collects the most funds. Top fundraising recognition went to UC Davis in 2008 and Pacific in 2009. Led by Pacific, the nine Big West schools raised $14,672 to more than exceed their goal of $10,000. This year, the Big West SAAC has set an even more ambitious goal of $15,000.
Beginning February 1, be sure to bring your change to your favorite Big West school to support a great cause! The list of each school’s charity is below:
