UC Santa Barbara's Orlando Johnson and Pacific's Sam Willard contributed double-doubles all across the board in earning Big West Men's Basketball Co-Player of the Week accolades.

Johnson (Seaside, Calif./Loyola Marymount) totalled career-highs in points (35) and rebounds (11) to lead the Gauchos to a 69-54 victory over Fresno State on Saturday.  The 35 points were the most by a Gaucho since Alex Harris had 35 on February 22, 2007 at Cal State Fullerton.  The junior scored 23 of his points in the first half as UCSB sprinted out to a 13-0 lead and never relinquished the advantage.

Willard (Pierre, S.D./T.F. Riggs HS) posted three consecutive double-doubles, averaging 17.0 points and 13.7 rebounds per game as the Tigers had a 2-1 week.  He has six straight double-doubles dating back to last season.  Willard erupted for 15 points and 16 rebounds in a 64-53 win against Nevada, then had 18 points and 14 boards in a 13-point setback to UCLA.  The senior concluded the week with 18 points and 11 caroms versus William Jessup.

Willard also went 16 of 16 from the free throw line through the three games.

Others nominated:  Devon Peltier (Cal State Fullerton); Michael Lizarraga (Cal State Northridge); Larry Anderson (Long Beach State); Joe Harden (UC Davis); Darren Moore (UC Irvine); Phil Martin (UC Riverside)
