Lee Posts Rare Quadruple-Double, Earns Weekly Honor

Becoming the first player in the nation to record a quadruple-double this season, while leading Long Beach State to a pair of Big West victories, earned setter Ashley Lee Big West Volleyball Player of the Week accolades.

Lee began the week posting 39 assists and 13 digs for a double-double in the win over UC Irvine. Averaging 13.00 assists per set in the Anteater sweep, her efforts helped the team hit .305.

On Saturday, Lee was explosive on the court in LBSU's 3-2 win over UC Riverside with a quadruple-double performance. She registered 50 assists, 13 digs, 10 kills and 10 blocks as the 49ers beat UC Riverside on the road. Lee recorded her second career triple-double, while notching the nation's 20th triple-double this season. Also impressive was her .500 hitting percentage on the night.

For the week, the La Habra Heights, Calif., native averaged 11.12 assists, 3.25 digs, 1.50 kills and 1.25 blocks per set and helped the 49ers hit .254 over the two matches.
