Coral Hoover (Corralitos, Calif./Harbor HS) earned a pair of shutouts on the road and led Cal Poly to back-to-back wins for the first time this season as the Big West Women's Soccer Player of the Week.
Hoover improved her overall record to 4-1 after the Mustangs beat Air Force and Colorado College by identical 1-0 scores. She lowered her goals against average to 0.80 and improved her save percentage to .911 for the season.
Against the Falcons on Friday, Hoover faced a total of 20 shots and made saves on all eight shots that were on frame. Hoover handled more pressure versus the Tigers on Sunday, making seven saves in a game in which Cal Poly was outshot 21-10.
This is the first career Women's Soccer Player of the Week for Hoover.
