The Big West named Men's Tennis Tri-Athletes of the Week with Cal Poly's Robert Foy, UC Santa Barbara's Scott Hohenstein and Pacific's Moritz Starke the honorees. Long Beach State senior Hannah Grady was tabbed the Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week after completing a perfect 8-0 season against Big West competition at No. 1 singles.

Moritz Starke (Bamberg, Germany/Forsyth Country Day) were named Big West Men's Tennis Tri-Athletes of the Week.
Foy posted a 4-0 record at No. 5 and No. 6 singles. He defeated Ted Kelly of Stanford 6-4, 3-6, 10-7 to give the Mustangs their only point against the No. 8-ranked Cardinal. He also was instrumental in securing a 4-3 win for Cal Poly against rival UC Santa Barbara with a 7-5, 5-7, 6-3 win over Mathieu Forget.
Hohenstein went 2-1 in singles and 2-1 in doubles for the Gauchos. He won the clinching match at No. 3 singles against San Diego's Nikola Bubnic by a 7-6, 5-7, 6-3 score, giving UCSB a 4-3 victory against the No. 62 Toreros.
Starke garnered his third consecutive honor after winning a pair of matches against conference foes. His 2-6, 7-6 (2), 7-6 (4) victory against UC Irvine's Steven Henderson clinched a 4-3 win for No. 52 Pacific and sealed the No. 1 seed in next week's Big West Tournament. Starke also earned a 6-1, 6-1 victory against UC Riverside's Felix Macherez. Starke is now 12-4 on the season at No. 1 singles for the Tigers.
Grady Finishes Undefeated In Big West Play For Long Beach State

Hannah Grady (Coventry, England/Oxford Open School) captured Big West Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week honors after her two singles wins at No. 1 helped the 49ers cap off an undefeated season in conference play.
The 49ers defeated Pacific (6-1) and UC Davis (5-2) on the road to finish Big West play 8-0. Grady, who is ranked No. 100 nationally in singles, defeated the No. 84-ranked player in Pacific's Jenifer Widjaja by a 7-5, 7-6 (3) score. Widjaja was unbeaten against Big West foes prior to taking on Grady, the three-time conference Player of the Year.
Grady also toppled Randi Schuler of UC Davis 6-3, 6-1 and combined with Jessica Weeks to defeat the tandem of Schuler and Desiree Stone, 8-4, in No. 1 doubles.
