Anais Dallara (Gagnes, France/College De L'egandaude) secured her first career Big West Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week award as she went 2-0 in both singles and doubles against conference foes from nationally ranked UC Irvine and Cal Poly.
The No. 44-ranked 49ers rolled to 5-2 victories against the Anteaters and Mustangs to maintain their undefeated Big West record at 6-0. Dallara extended her singles winning streak to nine straight and coupled with Rachel Manasse, moved her doubles record to 6-0 at the No. 3 spot.
Dallara, who plays No. 4 singles for LBSU, earned a 6-4, 6-2 victory against UC Irvine's Clara Fermin and then combined with Manasse to take down the No. 79 ranked Anteater duo of Courtney Byron and Miranda Young, 8-1. Against the Mustangs, Dallara dispatched Maria Malec by a 6-2, 6-0 score in singles. In doubles play, Dallara and Manasse outlasted the Cal Poly tandem of Malec and Shannon Brady, 8-5.

Josh Finkelstein (Los Angeles, Calif./Hong Kong International) did everything he could to contribute to a pair of road wins against Texas-Arlington and SMU, but his efforts netted him Big West Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week despite the Gauchos losing both matches by 4-3 scores.
Finkelstein was embroiled in tight matches throughout the singles and doubles competition against both squads. He defeated Texas Arlington's Adam Srkala 7-5, 7-6 at the No. 4 singles position. Playing at No. 4 again against SMU's Adham el-Effendi, Finkelstein claimed a hard fought 6-4, 7-6 victory against the Mustang counterpart.
Finkelstein teamed with Alex Konigsfeldt to post victories at the No. 1 doubles position as well. The two outlasted their UTA foes 8-7 and battled to an 8-5 triumph against the Mustang duo.
