Janae Young helped the Pacific Tigers hand league-leading UC Santa Barbara its first conference loss of the season and then followed that up with a career-best outing against Cal Poly. Demonstrating both her offensive and defensive talent, Young scored 20 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lift the Tigers to their first win over the Gauchos since 2003. The Sacramento, Calif., native shot 9-of-17 from the floor and added two steals and one assist to her total.

She followed that up with an even more impressive performance as she drained a career-high 28 points and pulled down a career-best 16 rebounds against Cal Poly. For the second consecutive game she shot over .500 from the floor (11-of-19) and picked up two more steals. Young averaged a double-double for the week with 24 points and 12.5 rebounds, while shooting .556.
