Cal Poly forward David Zamora had a big offensive week to help the Mustangs stay tied atop the conference standings, netting him Big West Player of the Week honors.

The junior picked up the 22nd hat trick in Big West history with his trifecta of goals against conference rival Cal State Northridge.

Zamora's hat trick was even more impressive considering he scored the trio of goals in just under seven minutes of gametime in the second half, turning a 0-0 deadlock into a 3-0 Cal Poly lead between the 68th and 75th minutes.

The goals also gave him 20 for his career, the second most in Mustang history and just five short of cracking into the top 10 in career scores in Big West lore.

Others nominated: Carlos Aguilar, UC Irvine; David Walker, UC Santa Barbara
