A stellar offensive performance that guided Pacific to a perfect 2-0 mark to open conference play earned Alexa Anderson her first career Big West Player of the Week honor, for the week ending Sept. 28.
Friday evening, the senior outside hitter led the Tigers to their first win over No. 22 Long Beach State since Sept. 23, 2004, with a match-high 17 kills. Earlier in the week, Anderson tallied 16 kills and fired a .250 hitting percentage in Pacific's 3-1 victory over UC Davis. For the week, the Los Gatos, Calif., native led the Tigers with a 4.71 kills per set average and a .305 clip.
