The Cal State Fullerton softball team split a pair of one-run games on Saturday afternoon at Anderson Family Field, falling to No. 17 Long Beach State, 3-2, in eight innings before rallying for two runs in the bottom of the seventh to take the nightcap, 2-1.

Pair of Seventh Inning Rallies Propel Matador Softball to 1-0, 4-3 Victories over UC Riverside

The Cal State Northridge softball team (20-23, 9-8 BWC) rallied in the seventh inning twice for a pair of victories over UC Riverside Saturday afternoon at Amy S. Harrison Field. Northridge scored the game's only run on a bases-loaded walk in game one and rallied for four runs in the seventh in game two to secure the 4-3 victory.
