Four UC Irvine players scored in double-digits, and the Anteaters defeated the visiting Cal State Northridge Matadors to claim their first conference victory of the year.  For Irvine , Kelly Cochran scored a game-high 18 points to go along with 13 rebounds, Stephanie Duda added 15 points and 16 rebounds, Miranda Forry also had 15 points, and Annie Mai chipped in 10.  Northridge was led by Crystal Hahs’ 15 points, 8 rebounds and 4 blocks.

The Anteaters return to the court on Saturday, February 2 at The Walter Pyramid to challenge the Long Beach State 49ers, while the Matadors travel to Fullerton to take on the Titans.  Both games will be available on BigWest.TV, with the Anteaters and 49ers tipping off at 4:00 p.m. PST and the Matadors and Titans tipping at 5:00 p.m.
