The 2008 Big West Player of the Year, Brittany Moore, ends the season and her four-year career at Cal State Fullerton with Big West Volleyball Player of the Week honors. This is her fifth weekly accolade of her career.
Moore concluded her Cal State Fullerton volleyball career with a record-tying performance that led the Titans to a road win over Loyola Marymount, snapping a 13-match losing streak to the Lions. The senior outside hitter recorded her 18th double-double of the year with 23 kills and 11 digs. Her final kill of her career was her 1,534th, tying her with Susan Herman for Cal State Fullerton’s career record which was set 19 years ago under the old scoring format. Moore also became the all-time leader in attempts, swinging 4,142 times in her four-year career.
The Orange, Calif., native’s performance led the Titans to their 17th win of the year, second-most all-time at CSF, and ensured the team a winning season for just the fourth time since 1976.
