This week's cross country schedule is a light docket as only three squads will be in competition. The majority of the clubs not in action are preparing themselves for Pre-Nationals in two weeks.

The action starts Friday as Pacific heads west to the Bay Area for the San Francisco State Invitational. A day later, Long Beach State and UC Irvine will send contingents to sunny San Diego for the UCSD Triton Classic hosted by UC San Diego.

A quick look at the second national poll of the season sees the Cal Poly men ranked at #29, while the UC Riverside women's contingent is in the receiving votes section.

On the regional lists, the conference is well represented as five teams on both the men's and women's side appear in the rankings.

The men's poll has Cal Poly (#5), UC Riverside (#10), UC Santa Barbara (#11), UC Davis (#14) and UC Irvine (#15), while the women's rankings include UC Riverside (#5), Cal State Fullerton (#9), UC Davis (#10), UC Irvine (#14) and UC Santa Barbara (#15).
