Back-to-back explosive offense outings by Cal State Fullerton's Brittany Moore earned her Big West Player of the Week, for the week ending Oct. 5. This marks the third weekly accolade of her career.
The senior outside hitter led the Titans to a pair of consecutive Big West Conference road wins at UC Riverside and UC Irvine. Moore, not only posted double-doubles in both matches, but tallied back-to-back 20-plus kill efforts to record season highs in kills both nights.
On Friday versus the Highlanders, the Orange, Calif., native registered a season-best 21 kills and 21 digs to defeat UC Riverside in five sets. The following night, Moore topped her previously set season-high kill mark with a 25-kill performance against UC Irvine. She also hit. 328 and added 11 digs to her already impressive total.
For the week, Moore hit .299 and averaged 5.11 kills and 3.56 digs per set to guide the Titans to a 2-0 conference record.
