UC Davis forward Quincy Amarikwa (Bakersfield, Calif./Liberty HS) notched his second Big West Player of the Week award of 2008 after leading the Aggies to two big road wins.

The senior started his week off with the game-winning goal in the 49th minute against homestanding Cal State Fullerton in UCD’s 1-0 victory.

Amarikwa then put two more goals on the board against #15 UC Santa Barbara in the Aggies’ 2-0 over the two-time defending league champions. His talent was on display throughout the match as he put three of his four total shots on net and scored his second goal via bicyle kick.

Amarikwa now leads the conference in goals (12) and points (24) and stands fourth all-time in program history in scores with 28.
