Two explosive shooting performances and a double-double by UC Davis' Jessica Campbell guided the Aggies to a 2-0 week and earned her Big West Player of the Week accolades, for the week ending Jan. 20. This is the second honor of the season for the senior, who picked up her first weekly award back on Dec. 24.

The San Marcos, Calif., native posted her fifth game of the season with at least 20 points, as she drained 21 in the win over Cal State Fullerton on Thursday. Her 10 rebounds against the Titans secured her first double-double of the season.

Two days later, Campbell tallied 16 points and seven rebounds to guide the Aggies to their fourth straight conference win after downing UC Irvine 69-59. In UC Davis' two road victories, Campbell had just two turnovers in 64 minutes of court time.

For the week, Campbell averaged 18.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game. She currently leads the Big West in field goal percentage (.552) and ranks second in scoring (15.4 PPG) and free throw percentage (.862).

UC Davis, riding a four-game win streak, hosts UC Santa Barbara and Cal Poly at The Pavilion this week. The Aggies face the Gauchos Thursday, Jan. 24 at 7:00 p.m. and the Mustangs Saturday, Jan. 26 at 5:00 p.m.

Others nominated: Kat Suderman (UCSB), Megan Harrison (CP), Toni Thomas (CSF), Roney Friend (UCR), Janae Young (PAC).
