Sophomore Bunny Dickson accompanies her Pacific teammates to the Pacific Northwest as the Tigers take on Washington and Portland in the Husky Invitational this weekend.
Pacific senior Bunny Dickson (Millbrae, Calif./Notre Dame Belmont HS) snapped out of a long scoring slump and played a big role in the Tigers staying undefeated, earning Big West Women's Soccer Player of the Week honors.
Dickson had not scored a goal in over 2,000 minutes, a span dating back to October of 2005, before netting the team's first score in a 2-2 tie at Hawai'i on Friday. She also assisted on the Tigers' second tally.
The Tigers stayed on the island for their second game in as many days against Tennessee-Martin, and came away with a 1-0 victory. It was Dickson who accounted for the only goal in the 30th minute, as she came off the bench to take four of Pacific's 22 shots in the match.
Pacific is the Big West's only remaining unbeaten team with a 3-0-1 record.
