Cal Poly's Ali Waller posted career-best totals in services aces and total blocks, which helped the Mustangs earn their second straight Big West title with a 2-0 record for the week and helped her capture her first Big West Women's Volleyball Player of the Week accolade of the season. Waller joins teammates Jaclyn Houston and Kylie Atherstone as one of three Cal Poly players to earn the weekly distinction this year.

On Friday, Waller recorded a career-best six service aces and a contest-high 21 kills to lead Cal Poly to a 3-1 win over UC Riverside. She also blasted a .410 hitting percentage and added two blocks on the night.

In the 3-1 win over UC Irvine, the Cypress, Calif., native led the Mustangs with 15 kills and matched a career-best in total blocks with eight (one solo, seven assists), which contributed to a program-record 46 total blocks on the night. Waller was one dig shy of posting a double-double for the night, as she recorded nine digs. For the week, she led Cal Poly in kills per game (4.5) and total kills (36), while producing a .286 hitting percentage.

Winning its second consecutive Big West championship, Cal Poly earned the conference's NCAA automatic qualifier after posting an impressive 15-1 conference mark. The Mustangs, riding a 12-match win streak, are idle this week and wait to see how the NCAA 64-team field unfolds Sunday, Nov. 25 at 5:00 p.m. (PST) on ESPNU.

Others nominated: Angela Hupp (CSUN), Kari Pestolesi (UCI).
