Cal State Fullerton freshman midfielder Christina Murillo (Trabuco Hills, Calif./Trabuco Hills HS) scored her first two career goals in a reserve role, helping the Titans to consecutive road victories and herself to Big West Women's Soccer Player of the Week accolades.
Murillo's first career tally couldn't have come at a better time as she scored with just under two minute remaining in the second overtime of the Titans' 1-0 win over San Jose State on Friday. She became the fifth different Titan to notch a game-winning goal this season.
She scored once again in Fullerton's 3-2 win versus Fresno State on Sunday. Her goal tied the match in the first half.
Murillo took five shots on the week and the two that were on frame also found the back of the net. Her play propelled the Titans to their second three-match win streak of the season.
