UC Irvine junior Anthony Hamilton becomes the first player in Big West history to score two consecutive hat tricks.
UC Irvine forward/midfielder Anthony Hamilton (Grand Terrace, CA/Colton)took home Player of the Week accolades after leading the Anteaters to the LIU Soccer Classic championship.
The senior was a key part of UCI’s run as he tallied two goals and an assist for five points to garner MVP honors. Hamilton's goal in the 80th minute against 21st-ranked Fordham knotted the game and tied him for 10th on UCI's all-time goals list (17).
Hamilton also entered the week tied for third in the nation in assists per game (1.0) and has picked up a point in every match this season. In addition to being named the MVP and the Big West Player of the Week, Hamilton was named to the College Soccer News National Team of the Week.
