Cal State Northridge forward Ryan Rossi (San Pedro, Calif./Mary Star of the Sea HS) garners Big West Player of the Week accolades after leading the Matadors to wins in their final regular season matches.
The senior notched two game-winning tallies as he found the back of the net against Oregon State in the 75th minute and scored in the 59th minute against then #18 UC Irvine. The win against the Anteaters prevented UCI from winning the conference championship.
Rossi tied for the team lead in goals with six, a figure good enough to rank fifth on the Big West leaderboard. He has a knack for timely goals as three of those tallies have been game-winners, tied for second in the Big West.
