Cal State Fullerton senior defender Erica Janke (Simi Valley, CA/Los Alamitos HS) and Long Beach State sophomore goalkeeper Liz Ramos (Bakersfield, CA/Liberty HS) earned Big West Women's Soccer Co-Player of the Week accolades after helping their teams remain unbeaten in league play.

Janke, the cornerstone of the Titan backline, showed her offensive ability as she scored the first two goals of her career in road victories over Pacific (2-1) and Cal State Northridge (1-0). She netted CSF's first goal with a strike in the seventh minute against the Tigers. Janke then netted the lone goal of the contest versus the Matadors, collecting the first game-winning goal of her career. In doing so, the Titans handed Cal State Northridge its first home loss of the season in five matches.

Ramos helped the 49ers come away with a win and a tie on a trip to the Central Coast last weekend. Ramos had three saves in LBSU's 1-0 victory over UC Santa Barbara on Friday. She played an even larger role in preserving a 0-0 double overtime tie against the Mustangs on Sunday. Ramos corraled seven Cal Poly shots, including four of those saves during the overtime periods. She posted her eighth and ninth shutouts of the season, and now has 19 solo shutouts for her career.
