UC Riverside midfielder Linda Allen (Wildomar, CA/Lake Elsinore HS) finished out her collegiate career in grand style as the senior tallied a pair of game-winning assists in earning Big West Women's Soccer Player of the Week honors.

Allen helped the Highlanders to a 2-0 home win over UC Davis and then a 3-0 upset victory on the road against Long Beach State. On Thursday in UCR's home finale for Senior Day, Allen charged down a loose ball then slid a pass through the UC Davis defense to assist on the first goal of the match.

On Sunday, Allen fed Heidi Garrett with a pass in the 50th minute to unlock a scoreless tie and notch her second game-winning helper of the weekend. For good measure, she scored the team's third and final goal at the 65:31 mark to deny Long Beach State an undefeated conference season.

Allen's play helped UCR reach 10 wins for the fifth consecutive year, while her season totals of three goals and nine points established personal highs. She finished in the school's career top 10 in goals, assists, points, appearances and games started.
