Cal State Fullerton goalkeeper Karen Bardsley (Chino Hills, CA/Ayala HS) captured Big West Women's Soccer Player of the Week honors after her solid performance in net resulted in a 1-0 shutout of future conference rival UC Davis on Sunday.

Bardsley collected her second consecutive shutout and seventh clean sheet of the season, making eight saves on the afternoon. The Titans were outshot 20-12 for the match, but scored a goal in the fourth minute that held up thanks to the play of Bardsley. She made six of her eight saves in the second half to help her team snap a two-match winless streak. UCD will join the Big West as an official member in 2007.
