Cal State Northridge senior Jen Ryan (Agoura Hills, Calif./La Reina HS) earned her second Big West Player of the Week award of the season after drilling out a pair of 20-plus kill nights on the way to back-to-back double-doubles. Her efforts also helped the Matadors round out Big West play with two more wins, lifting them into a tie with UC Irvine for fourth place in the conference.
The 6-0 outside hitter put away 22 kills and picked up 15 digs in a four-game win over Idaho, then blasted 20 kills and recorded a season-high 28 digs in a win over Utah State. Ryan also had five assists and three aces across the two victories, and averaged 5.25 kills and 5.38 digs per game.
