Idaho senior Sarah Meek (Sherwood Park, Alberta/Salisbury HS) became the first two-time Big West Women’s Volleyball Player of the Week of the season with her second straight honor. Last week, Meek recorded her 30th consecutive double-figure kill match with her 22-kill performance against Cal State Fullerton, which completed a three-win week for the Vandals. Meek averaged 4.5 kills per game on a .364 hitting percentage last week and registered a double-double in the three-game win over UC Riverside with 16 kills and 10 blocks. Those 10 blocks tied the senior’s career high. Against Washington State in nonconference action, Meek opened the week with three service aces.
